Student Instructions

1. Collect a sheet of white A4 paper. 2. Use a ruler to draw 5 straight lines at random angles across the page. 3. Using your protractor, find and measure angles within your page. Use different colours to indicate the complementary and opposite angles. 4. photo Take a photo of your work and add upload your photo in response to the activity. 5. What patterns do you notice? Write down your ideas on your whiteboard, then mic record to share your observations. Extension: Have you made any triangles? Add the internal angles of the triangle together. What pattern do you notice? Have you made any quadrangles? Add the internal angles of the quadrangle together. What pattern do you notice?
