Teachers, save “Bar Graphs & Tally Charts” to assign it to your class.

Watch the demonstration slide prior to starting this activity. You will use the information in the tally chart to complete the bar graphs on page 2 and 3. For page 2: Use the information in the tally chart to complete the bar graph in the creative canvas. Grab the tool to fill in the graph. Be sure to change the thickness of the before using it to fill in the graph. Once you have finished the bar graph, answer the questions to the right of the graph using the tool. For page 3: Use the numbers to the left of each pet to create the tally chart. You will the individual tally marks up into the chart. Be sure to use the diagonal tally mark to represent the number "5". Grab the tool to fill in the graph. Be sure to change the thickness of the before using it to fill in the graph. Once you have finished the bar graph, answer the questions to the right of the graph using the tool. Click when you have finished.
