Student Instructions

Label the notes with the correct solfege syllable.
2. 
Record yourself singing the phrase from Bow, Wow, Wow with solfege syllables.
3. Go to the next page and continue.
4. On the last page, write your own song using do.

This makes for a good reading activity for 2nd grade Unit 3 (4 sixteenth notes unit, practice do) from the Kodály in the Classroom handbooks by Phillip Tacka and Micheál Houlahan. I usually practice reading the songs as a class a couple of times before doing the Seesaw activity. I also sometimes use it at the beginning of the 3rd grade year as review.
