Student Instructions

In this Lesson, you will learn what a sensor is and why you would use sensors with a VR Robot. The first sensor that you will learn about is the Bumper Sensor. You will learn how the Bumper Sensor works and how to use the VR Robot Bumper Sensors in a VEXcode VR project. This will be a VR experince to prepare you for the competition. Objective: In the Wall Maze Challenge, you will use VEXcode VR to navigate the VR Robot through the Wall Maze Playground from start to finish. You will learn how to use the Bumper Sensor and the [Wait until] block to solve the Wall Maze Challenge. 🤖🔰 To get started Go to the seesaw activity and tap on add response. Go to link and select Wall Maze from the playground options. Use the Block codes to move your VR Vex robot. A Bumper Sensor is a switch. The Bumper Sensor reports if it is pressed or released.The Bumper Sensor can be pressed by walls in the Wall Maze Playground. Try to navigate the Maze. Take a photo of your code and score. upload it to your page response. Then tap👉 try again🔁. Before you tap the play button▶ examine your code and try adjusting the drivetrain code blocks to improve your results. You have three chances to improve your score. When complete check your seesaw response.
