Student Instructions

As we have learnt robots are machines. There are lots of types of robots that do lots of different jobs. Because a robot is a machine we have to program it (give it instructions) to do things. It only does what we tell it to do! Page 1 2 & 3 BOB the robot car has been given instructions to drive to different places on the map. Can you work out where BOB’s instructions will take him? You must stay on the road! 1. Follow BOB's instructions and work out where BOB should be. Use move to place BOB at the correct place on the map. 2. Use label to type the name of the place BOB has moved to. 3. Use label to type the letter and number of the square (these are called coordinates). Page 4 5 & 6 BOB the robot car needs you to give him instructions to help him reach his destination. 1. Work out where BOB needs to go, move BOB and then give BOB the instruction blocks to get there. 2. move Move the arrow block instructions to help BOB get to the correct place. You will need to duplicate the blocks as you need them. Select the block and tap on 3dots and duplicate the block. There is more than one way to solve these problems! Finally, share your work check
