In the graph to the left, the x-intercepts (roots) should be equidistant from the axis of symmetry. If this graph was an accurate representation of a quadratic equation, the negative root would pass through the x-axis at (-2, 0), not (-4, 0) because -2 and -4 are equidistant from their midpoint 1. https://youtu.be/60PoL2fESEc 2) On slide 1, use the tool to drag and drop the vocabulary identifying the appropriate parts of the parabola. Use the tool to explain what you KNOW how to find algebraically and what you still need help calculating. 3) On slides 2-5, use the and/or tools to find the x- and y-intercepts of the given quadratic equation. Use the tool to plot the three points and sketch a graph of the parabola.
