Instructions for Pupils

Using the story we just finished in class, complete an Acrostic Poem about one of the main characters. See the example for what an Acrostic Poem looks like. 1. Use add to submit a drawing. 2. Use the label tool to write each letter of the character's name down the left side of the page. 3. Then, write a word, phrase, or sentence that describes the character. It should start with the letter from the character's name. It should also be something you can find text evidence for (with a page number!) later on. Note: You may want to think about Physical Characteristics, Relationships With Other Characters, Events That Occurred That Are Central To The Character’s Development, Familial Relationships, Emotional Characteristics 4. Add color, backgrounds, images, or emojis to help make your poem stand out and show that you understand who the character really is. 5. Click check when you're done!
