Did you know that the Commonwealth Games start today in Birmingham? We have a special project for you that is closely related to this. Welcome to our very own Year 2 Potato Commonwealth Games!! Over the next week, you will explore various math concepts and complete some related writing tasks. You will have to use your imagination and think creatively to make supporting materials for your sporting events... but more about that in Potato Commonwealth Games Day 1 Events. Today you have 3 activity pages to complete. 1. Decorate your 2 potato athletes to compete in the upcoming events. Take a Record their names and which sporting events they will compete in. 2. Fill in a Potato Profile for one of your athletes 3. Allocate a country for your athletes to represent and draw the flag for that country. (Make sure you use the correct colours!)
