Student Instructions

We have already learned that computers were developed to help crack the German Enigma codes during WW2. Enigma codes are very complicated. But an easier cipher to learn about that still gives you a taste of what it is like to send coded messages is called a pigpen cipher ( so-called because the letters look like little pigs in their pens) See if you can decipher the message contained in the template. It's a phrase that you might see on a pirate's map. *Click on add then write on the template. *Then click on check the tick when you are finished.
