Select a time period or an event in history. Think about a famous person that lived during this time. Develop a story about how your character would have survived, lived during or responded to the historic event. While you are making up the story, the story does have to be realistic. Your goal is to help a reader understand a time period rather than just researching facts about the event. So, do you have an event in mind? Do you have a character? Let's begin! Directions: 1.
