2. Listen and read along.
3. Take notes in your ENGLISH notebook. Use the following questions to guide your note taking.
-Who is the main character/s?
-What other characters are in the story and what is their relationship to the main character/s?
-What are these characters like? Find words in the story that describe these characters and write them next to their
name. (Example - Owen the milkman: whined all the time)
-What is the setting? Where does the story take place? There may be more than one setting throughout a whole
book, so choose the main ones. Write down some specific information.
-What are the main events in the story? Write them in order.
-What are some things of interest? It might be the colour of something, a name or nickname given to something etc.
