Bowerbird loves blue. Magnificent colbalt. Brilliant, vibrant blue! But something is missing. What could it be?
1. Click 
2. Click on page 1. Click on one of the links to listen or read the story 'Bower Bird Blues' by Aura Parker.
3. Click on page 2. Reorganise the pictures to retell the story. You will need to unlock each picture before you move it in to the correct order.
4. Click on the 
to record you retelling the story.
5. Click on page 3 and page 4. Use the 
tool to find the blue objects in the picture.
6. Send your work to your teacher by pressing on the 
Teacher Notes (not visible to students)
Aspect of the Australian Curriculum English Prep students listen to texts, interact with others and create short spoken texts, including retelling stories. Year 1 students interact with others, and listen to and create short spoken texts including recounts of stories.
