Student Instructions

This lesson features step-by-step instructions and sequence words. Whenever you are trying to break down directions, always include those sequence words!. 1) Click on the link and watch the video "Teaching Step-by-Step Instructions Lesson for Kids" 2) Click on page two for an example of the student response template. If you click on the recording, the page and directions will be read aloud to you. 3) Click on the student response template: Step-By-Step Instructions. 4) Teaching procedures requires that the directions are broken apart into manageable steps. Using Seesaw's pen or pencil tools, write 3 steps to making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Make sure you include sequence words such as first, second, third, next, then, or finally. 5) Tap check when you are finished.
