Student Instructions

On slide 1, demonstrate your knowledge of rate of change by completing the guided example. Use the pen, pencil or label tools to analyze the patterns in the table and identify the rate of change. You will find the instructions for the mini labs on slide 2. On slides 3-7, click on the link to view the video/image of the mini lab to record data. Use the pen, pencil or label tool to complete the table based on your mini lab observations. Identify the Δy, Δx, and rate of change. Complete the sentence stem to describe the relationship in your chosen lab. If you do not have a touchscreen or stylus, you may use the photo tool to upload a picture of your work on paper. On slide 8, complete the practice problems using the pen, pencil or label tools. On slide 9, use the move tool to drag and drop the red circle on your level of understanding. Use the mic tool to explain in your own words how to find the rate of change from a table of values. Click on the check to submit your activity when you have finished.
