We have been making number stories using different objects. We are going to create an addition think board to show our thinking. Once you are done, have a go at playing the different addition TopMarks games. The think board has 4 parts: 1. Story: Write a sentence. Example: I can see 7 girls and 4 boys. In total I can see 11 people. 2. Pictures: Example: I can draw 7 girls and 4 boys. 3. Objects: I can count 7 red blocks and 4 blue blocks. 4. Number sentence: 7 + 4 = 11. Challenge yourself by using bigger numbers for your second Thinkboard. Take a photo if you choose to do this on paper. Explain the 4 parts of your think board.
