My 6 Sentence Story

Instructions for Pupils

Listen to the story in the example. Listen carefully to each sentence... The first sentence begins with 'Once upon a time' and introduces the main character. The second sentence describes where the character lived. The third sentence describes the character's special talent. The fourth sentence describes the character's problem. The fifth sentence tells why the character felt that way. The final sentence tells how the character solved the problem. Slide 1 has another example. Have a read and see what you think... Now it is time for you to write your 6 sentence story. Slide 2 has the pattern for you to use. Just write one sentence at a time, then read your whole story together. As always, you can write directly onto Seesaw using label or use a pen and paper and share a photo
