Student Instructions

When we repeat a letter sound in two or more words or syllables that is called alliteration. The repeated sounds are usually the first sounds—like a tongue twister: “She sells seashells”. Alliteration is a common feature in poetry, songs/raps, and other kinds of writing, as well as in popular phrases, such as "pretty as a picture" and "dead as a doornail." Click on the link to watch the video showing snippets of popular songs containing alliteration. add and use the drawing or highlighter to circle or underline any alliteration you find in the lyrics. Then upload your own example of alliteration in a song that you like. check when you are ready to upload to your seesaw journal.
