Onset & Rime - Fun With Three Letter Sounds! What Is the Onset?

Grades: 2nd Grade, 1st Grade, Kindergarten

Student Instructions

Can you build some words by identifying the Onset of the word? For this fun activity, you are provided with the Rime. It is your job to identify the Onset and click and move move the correct Onset to each picture. After you'll use the mic microphone to read the two words to me. 1. Click the add add response button. 2. Look at each cameraroll picture and decide which letter sound needs to go where. This letter is the Onset. You will click and move move the letter and place it under the correct picture. After, click on the mic microphone to read the two words. You will then do this for all of the slides. 3. When you are done with all of the slides, click the green check checkmark to upload your work.

Teacher Notes (not visible to students)
