Student Instructions

Hands-on Activity 1. Slide 1: Measure the temperature of the cold and hot water. Take photos and type in the temperatures. Investigate what happens when you move the thermometer from cold water to hot water. Take a video of the change in temperature. Your video must show the red mercury expanding or contracting. Record an explanation in the caption using the required vocabulary words. Your recording should not exceed 30-seconds. 2. Slide 2: Measure the temperature of the cold and hot water.
