How can you be more understanding of other people's differences? How can you make an effort to include people who are being excluded? 1. Use the Label tool to write some of your ideas. 2. Draw a picture of yourself doing something kind for someone in your class. 3. Publish to your journal.

Choose and read a text that provides an example of inclusive and exclusive behaviours in a social situation. Conduct a guided discussion to identify and list the behaviours and the impact they had on the characters in the text. Encourage students to add additional inclusive behaviours to the list.
