Hi everyone! In today's English lesson, we are going to imagine we are on Ra's sunship. Just like Marcy was in the book. Your job is to describe what you might see from way up high, over ancient Egypt. Watch this video to give you some ideas: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u1S9p3IfCV0 There are 3 main language features we will be using to write our descriptions today... Adjectives, similes and 'ing' words! You will also be using the sentence starters that I have put on the pictures for you. Here is an example of a good sentence... On the hot, horizon (my sentence starter) I spotted magnificent (my adjective) pyramids as high as the sky (my simile) glowing (my 'ing' word) in the golden sand. When you are ready, click I would like you to write a good sentence, just like mine, with all of those language features in, for each picture. If you really want to impress me and make your brain super strong, then write me 2 sentences for each picture! I cant wait to hear your descriptive sentences!
