"Leontyne Price: Voice of a Century" is written by Carole Boston Weatherford, illustrated by Raul Colon, published by the Alfred Knopf Publishing Company. Leontyne Price was born February 10, 1927. She was the first African American to become a leading performer at the Metropolitan Opera.
