Student Directions

2. Select a template.

4. On the next page, write your speech explaining why the person deserves an award in the

Have students draw a picture of an award for the helper they wrote about. Then, have them share their speech that tells why the person deserves an award. Have students write how this person is alike or different from two other helpers they read about this week. Have students use two vocabulary words from the Word Bank.
