> Check out my sample page for an example of what your images/preimages should look like. Play buttons will offer audio directions specific to that page. > Click the button. • PAGES 1 TO 3 ~ Fill in the blanks on the left side of each page with the tool. Then, plot and label your vertices for each example using the and tools. Connect your dots by clicking on , then and finally the light blue line shape. Change the length and ORIENTATION of your line to connect your vertices. Perform the specific TRANSFORMATION on the page and graph your IMAGE following the same previous steps. • PAGE 4 ~ REFLECTIONS... THE OTHER KIND: Use the tool to place a circle around a number in each transformation category, 1 being least confident and 4 being most confident. Use the or tool to record a response to the second question. • PAGE 5 ~ SAMPLE PAGE: Use this as a guide. Make sure to compare how your graphed responses to this prior to submission. > IMPORTANT: Please click the button after every slide you complete to prevent losing your work. > SUBMISSION: Click the button to turn in your response! If at any time you'd like to reference the Chapter #2 Padlet, click the following https://padlet.com/mr_isaacs_math/bqbawiqaffkarj3w
Students will display their knowledge and understanding with regard to performing the three types of rigid transformations (translations, reflections, rotations). Furthermore, teachers can use the students' responses from any of these pages for error analysis or create a digital gallery walk where peer-to-peer feedback could take place. Finally, the self-reflection responses should be useful to students by identifying their weak points (if any) and developing a plan to improve in that area. All audio can be recorded again to fit your students' needs and I would make sure to model how to use the line tool to connect the dots on any figures.
