Sound waves are all around us! Look for unusual places where you might see, hear, or feel sound waves. Take a photo, recording, or video to show what you found. Explain what you noticed and how you knew it was sound waves.
Teacher Notes (not visible to students)
This is a great activity for incorporating science and music! Musical instruments are designed to amplify sound waves. Gongs, snare drums, pianos, and low strings such as bass or guitar are great for students to see and feel sound waves.
