✏️ The Amazing Flipping Arrow! πŸ’§ Let's be scientists and bend light with a super cool experiment! We are going to investigate how water can play tricks on our eyes. What You'll Need (Materials): πŸ”¬ A clear glass or a clear plastic bottle (make sure it's smooth) A piece of paper A marker or a pen Water What To Do (Procedure): ✍️ Draw Your Arrow: On your piece of paper, draw a straight, horizontal arrow. Make it nice and clear! ---> Set Up: Place your empty glass on the table. Hold your paper with the arrow on it a few inches behind the glass. Look through the glass at the arrow. Which way is it pointing? Add the Magic Potion (Water!): Now, carefully pour water into the glass. Keep your eye on the arrow as you pour. Observe! Look through the glass of water at your arrow now. What happened?! Which way is the arrow pointing? seesaw add Record Your Findings! Take a photo or a video of your experiment to share what you discovered. Use the microphone tool to explain what you saw! 🎀 (Extension Activities): πŸš€ Try Different Drawings: Does this work with other pictures? Try drawing a smiley face, your name, or a simple picture of a flower. Does it flip or just look distorted and bigger? Change the Distance: Move the paper closer to the glass and then further away. Does this change what the arrow looks like? More Than One Arrow: Draw two arrows on the paper, one above the other, pointing in opposite directions.
