Student Instructions

Georgia O'Keeffe was an American artist. She painted her flowers so large that they had to be noticed and seen in a new way. 1. Complete the class survey. 2. Take a look at some of the paintings by Georgia O'Keefe. What do you notice? 3. Watch the two videos. 4. Read the article, and take a moment to learn about her work. What makes her artwork so memorable? 5. Write 5 facts you learned about her and her art. ***Please remember to use complete sentences with capitals and periods.*** 6. On safari, find an image of a flower that you think is beautiful. Save it or take a screenshot. Place that image in the correct slide. 7. Create your own art based on that image in the style of Georgia O'Keefe. It can be a painting, a drawing with crayons or markers--or anything else. Use your imagination! It just has to be colorful! Please use paper--do not draw directly into Seesaw. Take your time and make this your best work. Have fun! 8. Click the check when you are finished!
