Student Instructions
In this activity you will be finding combinations using different apparatus (Numicon Shapes, counters, and number rods), writing the number sentences for each combination and putting them in order.
After reading the description of the activity and the instructions:
Tap 
to start working.
Use the 
tool to move objects into place.
Use the 
tool to type your number sentences.
Open the 
menu to access the extra tools 🧰 and select the voice tool 🔈to record your answer to the questions.
When you are finished tap 
if you are ready to add the activity to your journal or 
if you need to come back later to finish.

This activity was created to support the Numicon 2- Number, Pattern, and Calculating handbook. It is Calculating 3. Activities 1 and 2. Ideally this independent activity should be set after a focused teacher led session on Activity 1.
