Picking apart the poem, understanding some of the phrases and figurative language meaning. Read the attached teaching slides and then complete the following tasks: TASK 1 - Finding Winter as a powerful thing Use the highlighting tool in different colours to show Winter being shown as a powerful thing that are used throughout the poem. Use the voice recorder to say why you think these phrases are powerful images of winter, including your most powerful! TASK 2 - Showing Figurative Language Find examples of figurative language in the poem and add them to the table using labels use the voice recorder to explain your choices further.
