Find OR create respectable instructional videos or gifs to demonstrate how to do the skills involved, or, of drills to practice the skills required for your EdCampPE unit. PLEASE make sure the people in the videos or gifs are dressed decently before posting. Sometimes we find great resources, but they aren't appropriate for educational purposes. IF you choose to create a video(s), use "PVLEGS," produced by Bill Myers, to improve your public speaking skills! This a great platform to practice! It doesn't have to be perfect, but the video tool allows you to pause & re-record. Poise - stay calm and avoid distracting behaviors Voice - Make sure the viewer can hear you Life - Be enthusiastic - express passion and emotion if necessary Eye Contact - Make eye contact with your audience / look at the camera to connect visually Gestures - limit jerky gestures. Use them to enhance your video Speed - not too slow or too fast. Use pauses for effect and emphasis. Have fun & enjoy it!
