WIL - read and choose appropriate vocabulary WIG- recognise and read the words - think about which is the least and most sad - drag the words next to the numbers. 1 is the least sad, 10 is the most sad - choose five words and use each in a sentence We are going to make a Scale of Sad Synonyms word thermometer. Put the synonyms for sad in order from least sad at the bottom to most sad at the top. You can move the words to where YOU think they should be. Then choose 5 of the words and use the on page 2 to use each word in a sentence of your own. So you will end up with 5 sentences each containing one of your chosen words.
