Morphology is understanding the meaningful parts of words. Suffixes are added onto the end of a base word and changes its meaning. Today, we are looking at the suffix 'y' which makes the long /e/ sound. The suffix 'y' forms and adjective - a word to describe a noun. 1. Click the link to watch the video about the suffix 'y.' 2.
