Student Instructions

After you have taken photos of building and plants using the zoom, pano, landscape and portrait modes. You will use then use tools in the Photos app to edit using: crop, lighten, darken, flip and change a photo from colour to black and white. Task: Take 2 photos Take 2 photos using the zoom function. Take 2 photos using the pano lengthways to capture the height of a building or tree. Take 2 photos landscape Take 2 photos using portrait function. Now edit the photos on your app and re-upload your edited photo on the correct page. Crop, lighten, darken, flip and change a photo from colour to black and white. When you are finished press the check button.

Teacher Notes (not visible to students)

Students will take 8 photos and free choice. 2 normal photos, 2 using the zoom function, 2 pano - tilt the ipad side ways and move the ipad up the building, 2 landscape and 2 portrait. They will then upload the photos to seesaw. Next they will go back and edit the photos: Crop, lighten, darken, flip and change a photo from colour to black and white and then upload them to the correct page. Students have free choice to take and upload photos that interest them.
