A complete sentence contains a subject, verb, and object. Subject: Who or what performs the action of the verb. The subject is typically a noun (Karlye) or a pronoun (she). Verb: The verb is the word that expresses what the action is. Object: Whoever or whatever receives the action. E.g. Karlye is reading her favourite book. Subject: Karlye, Verb: reading, Object: book.
